NOVAMED 2024: Representatives of the BRICS and EAEU countries will take part in the session "International cooperation in the medical products market: modern challenges"

Global changes in the world today lead to the transformation of economies, technological structures, and principles of interaction. The new order is based on the transition to innovation, flexible management models, and production management systems, where the state acts as an integrator to unite the interests of different parties.

In addition, new ties and cooperation chains are being formed, and a dialogue is developing between countries interested in mutually beneficial cooperation. In particular, this applies to such an important area as preserving health and providing citizens with necessary medical products.

The BRICS summit held on October 22-24 demonstrated that this association is turning into a platform for global interaction, consolidating the large developing economies of 9 countries. Much attention is also paid to the development of economic processes within the framework of the EAEU. The Union is concerned with the consistent elimination of barriers in the domestic market, as well as the expansion of access of member countries to the markets of third countries.

At the IV All-Russian Forum with international participation "Circulation of medical devices NOVAMED-2024", a separate session will be devoted to cross-country interaction and cooperation in the medical products market. It will be held on November 14, from 16 to 18 hours.

Representatives of Russia, Turkey, Brazil, China, Egypt, and Uzbekistan will talk about tools to support manufacturers in bringing medical devices to the market and the specifics of national registration procedures. Experts from Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, India, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Iran, Ethiopia, South Africa are invited to participate and discuss.

A comprehensive dialogue will allow for a better understanding of the distinctive properties of national legislation and procedures, as well as identify ways of rapprochement for the development of cooperation.

The session will be especially interesting for manufacturers of medical devices who are already operating in the markets of other countries, or are planning to develop export opportunities. Specialists in registration, export and import of medical devices, distributors are also invited to participate.

The co-moderators will be Dmitry Pavlyukov, Deputy Head of the Federal Service for Healthcare Supervision, and Igor Ivanov, Director General of the Federal State Budgetary Institution VNIIIMT of Roszdravnadzor.
